This week has been the first that Carson and I are spending home alone with no help from family. So, getting out of the house in order to be somewhere at a certain time was not easy. But we made it to the pediatrician in time for Carson’s first appointment yesterday.
Carson has been eating well, so it was no big surprise that he had gained almost a pound from the time we left the hospital at 6 pounds 6 ounces. He is now weighing in at 7 pounds 4 ounces. He is in the 11th percentile for weight, 38th percentile for height, and his head size is in the 7th percentile. Our boy has a tiny head.
I took these pictures yesterday as I tried Carson out in the bouncer. Right after these were taken he spit up all over his clothes requiring me to make a quick change right before we left for the doctor. Perfect timing.
