Carson is 1 month old today! OK, so it’s not that big of a deal to anyone else…but it is to us. It is hard to believe that it’s already been a month. He is quite different today than he was on November 14.
Carson is much more alert these days, and has started to cry for more than just food…which has made figuring out what will make him happy a little harder. He’s also started to notice and be totally entranced by lights, so I’m glad we installed the light fixture and fan right above the couch last week. He really likes it.
To commemorate this day, Carson busted out of his newborn diaper last night requiring a wardrobe change (and a crib sheet change) at 7 this morning. So, he wore his first size 1 diaper on his 1 month birthday. How fitting.
I remember my nephew being totally spellbound by fans and light fixtures at that age also. I would hold him in my lap and he would stare completely fixated on the fan overhead.
And just like his daddy, too!! “Button on, button off. Button on, button off.”
