Carson and the activity mat have had a few play dates, but he’s never taken much of an interest in it until yesterday.
There are a bunch of farm animals hanging above the mat. My favorite is the plush cow with a mirror on it. The cow is what caught Carson’s attention and kept it for a good 10 minutes. It was really fun to see him start to notice things around him and be truly interested in them.
He’s also starting to smile more at Ben and me. We had a nice little smile fest the other day. It was the day after his shots, so it was really nice to have a bit of happiness to make up for the day before. I didn’t realize how silly I sounded when I talked to him until I heard this!
