This doesn’t really qualify as a ski trip for Carson, but he did have his first trip to the mountains of New Mexico. We spent last weekend with Ben’s parents in Angel Fire. It was nice to have a weekend away.
I skied with Ben and Steve on Friday, but I just lasted a half day. The next day they closed the lifts due to the high winds, so we all went and had lunch in Taos. This pizza was delicious. Taos Pizza Outback, if you wanted to know.
Ben and Steve skied on Sunday, and then we headed back to Amarillo. Carson did well in the car, and despite getting home at 11, he slept pretty well that night.
My mom, Carson’s Mormor, gave him this snowsuit. This thing took up quite a bit of room in his suitcase but seems super comfy. The arms and legs were a little long, so hopefully we’ll have another cold snap here so he can wear it again before he grows out of it.
