As of today, Carson is actually 5 months and 5 days old…mom is just a little late on getting this post up.
Our little guy is changing every day. He is eating rice cereal for dinner now followed by a bath since no one is left clean after a meal with this kiddo. I made my first batch of baby food this past weekend and he seems to like his sweet potato puree. Here we are enjoying sweet potatoes for the first time!
Carson is grabbing and holding on to anything he can get his hands on. He seems to really like to grab and hold on to my hair and cheeks. He’s much more responsive to us, especially Ben. He gets such a great big grin on his face when he sees Ben in the morning and after work. It’s precious.
He is sleeping through the night every night now. Bedtime is around 7 or 8 and he gets up around 6…which is a little early for mom, but I’m adjusting and have realized that I am in need of an earlier bedtime. Naps are still unpredictable, but I cannot complain when he’s sleeping so well at night.
I love this kid.
