My baby food maker is wonderful. It’s the Babycook from Beaba. Could the same results be achieved with a steaming basket and food processor? Of course. But this is so small, convenient and cute. Did I just call an appliance cute?
So far I’ve made sweet potatoes, green beans, pears and peas for Carson, and he likes them all. One of the benefits to this as opposed to using a food processor is that I can make small batches. If Carson doesn’t like something, or we discover an allergy I haven’t been left with bags and bags of frozen beet puree.
Cooking is simple. Cut your fruit or vegetables into cubes, steam it, puree it, store it. You are left with only one item to clean, which is another positive of using this appliance.
After cooking a batch of food I freeze individual portions in this freezer tray and then pop the frozen food balls into freezer bags. I can just take one out of the freezer the morning I want to use it and its ready for dinner.
Had to share this picture of my little Aggie.
