Dr. Carson Zinnecker, DVM
Thanks to Richard, Lisa, Thomas and Ellie for this wonderful gift! Kate and Steve brought this belated Christmas gift down for him this weekend. It’s one of the cutest things I have ever seen and Carson really likes it. The dog came in a kennel with cans of dog food, a couple syringes, a stethoscope and a little bowl. I think he has a future in veterinary medicine.
One of the things I find most interesting in this picture is that he’s giving the dog medicine as he knows it, good sweet tasting stuff from a syringe. I don’t think he really knows what shots are even though he’s had a few. I guess he just never sees them or at least doesn’t remember. Last time we went to the doctor he was lying on the table playing with my phone when out of nowhere he was stabbed with pain. I don’t think he knew what brought it on. I am sure that will change.

I’m sooo super happy that he likes it. Maybe he will grow up to be a vet like his grandpa and uncle richard.
And how did he know how to do all that stuff? Medicine, stethoscope, tiny can of dog food; he recognized it all and knew how to use it. Children are amazing.
I love this picture. Imagine if he were to become a vet – this would be a really fun one to look back on.
