Looks can be deceiving…
Ben and Carson look happy don’t they? If I’d taken a picture 10 minutes before or after this it would’ve look completely different. I took this tonight after a really, really, really hard day. Carson had just gotten over a series of fits and was finally being his happy self, if only temporarily. I’m really too tired to even try to summarize the events of the day, but it was rough. Carson has just been hard in general recently and Betsy had a really hard time sleeping today. When you put those things together it makes for a stressful end to the weekend and a rather unpleasant start to the week. On the bright side, I made sausage and mushroom calzones for dinner and they were really yummy. I also made a ridiculous mess of the kitchen, and Ben was nice enough to clean it up for me. What a super husband I have!
