In Line at Wal Mart
Sometimes you just have to go to Wal Mart. Like when you need groceries, new shoes for your son and potting soil and you don’t have the time or the energy to go to two or three different places. I kind of hate Wal Mart and after this latest trip I might just spread my errands out over the week and never set foot in the place again, especially with kids. It’s too big. I get distracted and since I don’t know my way around very well I find myself back tracking and spending more time than I intended getting everything on my list. Carson was way over it by the time we got in line. I had to open a box of cheez-its they had at checkout to get him to stop demanding fruit snacks and chocolate milk. When we finally got in the car I was exhausted, thirsty and my arms were sore. Who needs a gym membership?
These carts are kind of hard to maneuver, but it was fun for Carson to have his very own seat. We also found a pretty cool toy concrete mixer for only $2! I can see why people go to Wal Mart. You can get pretty much anything and it’s not expensive. If you can get over the fact that you’re at Wal Mart, you don’t go at a busy time and you don’t take your kids with you then you have a better chance of not going totally bonkers.
