Mismatched
Betsy’s outfit came about in pieces today as other parts of it got dirty. We didn’t start the day like this.
Today was surprisingly uneventful and really wonderful. After Betsy’s morning nap we took a trip to Target. After lunch we played outside for a while then came in when some huge black bees started dive bombing us. Both Carson and Betsy went down for naps around 2. Betsy woke up a little before 4, and Carson slept until 6! After dinner we spent some more time outside. Carson entertained Betsy and me for a good while. The weather was lovely. There was a slight breeze and the sun was just dipping behind the neighbors house. Every now and then I have moments like I had tonight when I look around and am reminded of just how good I have it and I feel totally peaceful. I enjoy those moments.
We watched a little bit of The Voice tonight. Carson had a great time dancing. When a song would end he would say “Let’s try that again.” or “More dancing!”
He got time out twice today for pushing Betsy over. He gets so upset about time out, but so far he continues to do the same things that earn him time there.
