Cousins
This is not the picture I had in mind when I corralled the kids here before Lindsey and Scott left this morning. It was going to be a sweet photo and everyone was going to have huge grins. It was going to be one we’d print and frame. Instead Carson was a total grump and this was the best picture I got of the 4 of them. Seconds after I took this Carson was sprawled face down in the grass crying. The weekend was just too full of fun and he was all tuckered out.
After they left we had lunch, the kids both went down for naps. Ben and I should have done the same thing. It’s exhausting to even just watch 3 boys play! I do love having them all together, despite the noise level and increased risk of injury to all involved. They fought over toys, mainly a fire truck that only had two firemen, but overall that enjoyed each other. Thanks for coming, Persherns!
He was all tuckered out AND he’s decided to be the photo gremlin. Future archaelogists are not going to believe Betsy was ever the grouchy one!!
