Swinging
After naps and before Ben got home I took the kids to the park. I’ve tried once before to put Betsy in a swing, but she was not quite ready. So I tried it again today and she loved it. It was overcast and breezy this afternoon so it was really enjoyable to be out.
I met up with Carrie and Jean at IKEA this morning. After we left Carson kept talking about the store and the “towels” we bought. I didn’t buy any towels. Jean bought some fabric, so maybe that’s what he was thinking about. Carson fell asleep on the drive home, but after lunch and a little time outside he went down for a nap. Betsy took a pretty good nap this afternoon also which allowed me to vacuum and almost finish laundry…almost. Of all the housekeeping I do, laundry is my least favorite. Washing, drying and folding I’m ok with, but the putting away is what I hate. That is why I had a stack of 30+ items draped over a chair in our bedroom that had been there for a week until today. I don’t know why something so simple and easy gives me so much trouble.
