Betsy in the tent
Last night was rough. We got home at 9:30. Everyone needed to go to bed, but we had to unpack and re position monitors and noise makers and get kids in pajamas, so it wasn’t as easy as bringing peaceful sleeping children up to their beds and kissing their foreheads. At first Betsy was crying and Carson was fine..until he fell and busted his lip. Then we had two very upset children on our hands and two tired parents vowing never again to get home this late. Everyone calmed down eventually and went to sleep. Betsy didn’t get up until 7:30 and Carson slept in until 9 this morning! Our entire day was a little shifted after the late start, but was fine with no huge issues. And I much prefer a boring day without anyone falling apart to an exciting day with a meltdown.
