Two Spoons
Carson usually eats those yogurts in the tube, but today he refused. So I put it in a bowl hoping to encourage him with the “you’re a big boy and big boys eat their yogurt in bowls with spoons” logic. He didn’t fall for it, but he did enjoy scooping the yogurt with the spoons and then spilling it on himself and the table.
After a rough day yesterday I prepped myself for what was sure to be a crazy day of phone calls and planning to get the car fixed and get a rental car all with Ben having the car at work. To make matters worse I just realized last night that I hadn’t made plans for Ginger to be boarded while we are in Amarillo at the end of the week. So early this morning I called the kennel where we kept her at Christmas and they had an opening. I called my dad’s office to check on her vaccines. She needed a bordetella. So I called a vet office in Sugar Land but they would need to do a full exam since she was a new patient. So I scheduled her for that evening. Carrie was going to come down and take us to the pick up the rental car, but she suggested waiting until we knew for sure about the car before going to get the rental. Turned out that the problem with the car was just a loose tube and it would be ready that day. AND after telling Carrie about my woes with Ginger she offered to keep her for the weekend. Last night I went to bed with all kinds of things on my mind and all of those problems were resolved today. What a blessing!
