Matching Pajamas

These poor kids (and any future kids we may have) are destined to be dressed in matching clothes until the age of 18 as long as they come in his and hers styles!  One summer we went to Disney Land with the Rystroms.  I was probably 11 or 12.  Grandpa Don and Grandma Marge had just gotten back from Hawaii and had bought us girls (all the cousins) matching Hawaiian dresses.  At the time I remember thinking how dumb is was, and having a real bad attitude about being forced to do it.  But looking back on those pictures I am so glad that we were forced to do it.  I hope Carson and Betsy will feel the same way…eventually.

I turned 30 today!  I woke up to a Starbucks cappuccino and lovely roses this morning.  Thank you, Ben!  The kids were wonderful and both took good afternoon naps.  And this evening Christian and Shallan watched Carson and Betsy so that Ben and I could go to dinner.  It was wonderful.  Thank you, Van Kleefs!  After a wonderful meal at Backstreet Cafe we came home and had birthday cake.  Thanks again, Ben!  It was a great day.

Okay, Pap Steve made commenting on your blog a competition. Grrr. I love this post and the Betsy feeding herself and Carson trying to pronounce “pronunciation” post. This blog is consistently one of the happiest parts of my day!
