Minions
If you’ve seen Despicable Me 2, then you know the significance of these two toys. If not, go see it! The yellow minion is the good minion. The purple minion is the bad minion. He was a good minion but was injected with a serum that turned him into this crazed “purple guy” who I found to be pretty scary in the movie.
While we were in Round Rock my mom brought home Happy Meals for Carson and Maren. That is where Carson got the yellow minion. And today I got him another one is hopes of adding to his collection of Despicable Me toys. I pulled out the toy and handed it to Carson in the back seat. He screamed at it and threw it on the floor, an appropriate reaction if you’ve seen the movie. After lunch I tried to reintroduce the toy, but he just kept telling me to “put it back!”. After dinner he finally mustered up the courage to play with the purple guy and they all lived happily ever after.
Wait, you taught him to love the bad guy?!?!?! :-)
