A group photo at all costs
Getting Carson to take a picture is not easy! This is the best we could manage.
Sarah stayed for the morning and part of the afternoon. We went to find paper for a craft I’m working on for Betsy’s first birthday, stopped in Sprinkles because it just so happened to be next door, went to Michael’s to find just the right shade of neon coral paper and then had lunch at Local Foods. Our outing got rough near the end. While we were waiting in line to order Carson was being really difficult so I took him outside to have a little chat and I made him cry I was so harsh. When he stopped crying we went back inside and got in line with Sarah and Betsy. I was getting a nasty look from a lady a few people in front of us who I’m sure got a good look at me and Carson in front of the restaurant. And that made me feel guilty about how hard I was on Carson AND that my child was pitching a fit in public. He’s 2. He was hungry. And he doesn’t totally understand why he can’t run wild everywhere. I still don’t know the best way to deal with his fits.
On the way home Betsy was losing it. Sarah sat in the back seat and tried her best to keep Betsy happy and she did a great job until about 5 miles from home. She was just sick of the car seat, and I don’t really blame her. Overall the kids did a great job with all of our running around.
