Betsy does a few things make Carson laugh. One of those things is she shakes her head back and forth, like she’s shaking her head “no”, and it totally cracks him up. She’ll stop occasionally and look at him, just to make sure he’s still paying attention. And if he is, she goes right back to it. And on and on it goes for about a minute or two. It’s entertaining for everyone.
We had lunch with Ben this afternoon, and then made a quick trip to Trader Joes. Came home for a quick episode of Veggie Tales (a current obsession) and then went down for naps. I barely had time to clean the kitchen before Betsy woke up. She has been taking really short afternoon naps and it makes getting things done a little difficult.
This evening I went to feed Ginger. We keep the food in the garage. Carson was following me out there, so I asked him if he’d carry the cup of food into the house and pour it into Ginger’s bowl. I followed him every step of the way, but he did it all by himself, without spilling a single piece of dog food. I might have found a new little helper.
