Off vs. Pam
Do not set these next to each other on the counter in your kitchen. I almost sprayed my cupcake pans with bug spray today while baking for Betsy’s party. If my life were a sitcom this would’ve been filmed in slow motion. I caught it at the last minute and am very glad I did. I don’t know if I could have washed those pans enough times to assure myself that they were safe to bake in ever again.
Carson has become pickier with his eating. Macaroni and cheese used to be something he’d shovel into his mouth by the fistful. Now it’s like pulling teeth to get him to eat it. Tonight I asked him if he wanted chicken nuggets or macaroni and he chose macaroni. When I put his plate in front of him he quickly finishes the strawberries and the mandarin but leave the macaroni untouched. I told him he had to eat a few bites before he got more fruit. So he start playing with it, making up stories about it as he flies it around on his fork, tells me I can have a bite, and then says, “Hey, mom! I have a present for you!”, holding the forkful of macaroni out toward me. I ask what it is and he says, “It’s a car!” I laugh and say that it doesn’t look like a car. He says, “Oh no, it’s not a car. It’s Carson’s macaroni.”
Lindsey, Lane and Beckett are coming in tonight to spend the weekend and be here for Betsy’s party on Sunday!
