When Carson turned 1, Carrie and Shallan gave me a gift card to Urban Retreat. They said I could only use it if we all went together, which sounded like a great idea. But it just never worked out. I drove by a building in Sugar Land last week and there was a “Now Open!” sign and a sign for Urban Retreat. How convenient! I went home and checked the gift card. Turns out it expires after 2 years, so I called and found out I only had a month to use it. So this morning I got a wonderful pedicure and had enough money left on the card to get some amazing foot cream. On my way home Ben decided to take the kids on a bike ride, so I got some extra time at home without the kids, which was really nice. Thanks, Ben.
The rest of the day we watched football and I’m pretty sure I almost had a heart attack watching the Aggies. Yeesh.
