Picture Day
Carson had picture day at school today, so I couldn’t miss an opportunity to take a picture of him looking handsome. Unfortunately getting he and Betsy to take a picture together was pretty difficult today. This is the best one I got.
Betsy and I ran a few errands before meeting Carrie for lunch at Pondicheri, which was delicious. From there we went to pick Carson up from school. It was raining and we don’t have an umbrella (Don’t ask me why. I know we should have one in the car, but we don’t.) So we were all a little wet after we got Carson. We came home, Betsy took a good nap and Carson and I hung out on the couch. I tried to sneak in a little nap, but when I would close my eyes Carson would shake me awake (thinking we were playing) and if that didn’t work he’d tug at my eyelashes to get me to open my eyes. That happened twice before I gave up on the nap altogether.
Tonight we had girl’s wine and cheese night at Carrie’s so Ben came home a little early and put the kids to bed. Thank you, Ben!
