Happy Halloween!
We drove to Round Rock this morning through some pretty heavy rain and even though the rain had let up by the time we turned onto 71, I saw a lot of the flooding that had occurred in the Austin area the night before. It’s always amazing to me how powerful water can be and I’m thankful that we were safe on our drive. We had to turn around at one point because of high water.
We spent the afternoon in Round Rock, did a very small amount of trick or treating, then headed to Kate and Steve’s for dinner to celebrate Steve’s birthday.
