Thanksgiving Feast
Today Betsy and I went up to Carson’s school for their Thanksgiving feast! I was hoping for a Thanksgiving meal, like we used to get in elementary school, turkey, stuffing, etc. But instead it was chicken nuggets, pizza, fruit, cheese, etc. Which as I think about it was a smart move. I am pretty sure Carson (and by the looks of some of the kids eating habits today, not many of them) would have eaten a Thanksgiving meal. At least not with the gusto with which they ate chicken nuggets and cheese pizza! It was really fun to see Carson in his school setting. I took Carson home after lunch.
Ben stayed home sick today, something that is rare for him so when he does it he really doesn’t feel well. There is something floating around this house that is affecting everyone somehow and I am thinking a deep disinfecting is in its future.
