Cake Pops
I just couldn’t help myself when we walked by the Starbucks inside Target today. Carson wanted chocolate (which turned out to be an incredible mess) and I figured pink was appropriate for Betsy. I got a salted caramel for myself. Sometimes you just need a treat.
Betsy didn’t finish hers at the store so I saved it and let her finish it later in the day. When I gave it back to her she got to a point where it started falling off the stick and onto the table. I’d know it had fallen off because she’d start screaming. It was pretty funny to see her there with this empty stick, cake on the table and crying. I had to pick it up and stick it back on there a few times before she finished it.
It was 80 degrees today and oppressively humid. A cold front is coming through tomorrow that is supposed to cool things down, at least through the weekend. I’m looking forward to putting the kids in sweaters instead of their summer clothes.
