Headed to LA!
We left for Los Angeles this afternoon. We are spending a week out there with Ben’s family for Christmas. The flight was ok, but not without a few issues. Betsy fought sleep like a champ, but did finally take a 45 minute nap. Ben’s drink spilled when we went through some turbulence. But other than that it was uneventful.
When we got in we headed to dinner at the Kettle in Manhattan Beach and took a walk out to the pier to see the lights and the ocean. Then we went to the house that we’re renting in the Hollywood Hills. The kids fell asleep in the car and were not happy to be awakened when we got there, probably because it was 11 Texas time. But when we got everyone set up for sleep they fell asleep without much trouble. Overall I was really pleased with how the kids did with all the traveling and the time change.
