When I was pregnant with Carson I did a weekly belly shot and I like looking back on it now, especially the last one we took knowing now that 5 days after that was taken I was in the hospital holding him. I think I started taking those around 14 or 15 weeks. I didn’t take many with Betsy. So far during this pregnancy I haven’t taken any, so I thought I’d do a weekly belly shot and pregnancy update.
18 weeks
I had a doctor’s appointment last week and everything was fine. We scheduled the anatomy scan for January 30. We aren’t sure yet if we’re going to find out the sex of the baby. It was fun to be surprised with Carson, but it was also really fun to plan for a little girl. I guess we have a few weeks to figure out what to do…
I felt the baby move for the first time this week! How amazing is it that there’s a little person in there moving around! It astounds me and is no less amazing this time around. Feeling him/her move makes this whole baby thing more real. Kind of hard to believe we will be a family of 5 in 5 months. I’m starting to get a little anxious about planning for it all, but very excited also!
