- On Tuesday night Ben and I got to go to a short parenting seminar with Paul David Tripp. It was an enjoyable evening with great information and I am so glad we went.
- The rest of the week was pretty typical. School for Carson, grocery shopping, and other mundane housewife duties.
- I did quite a bit of cooking in preparation for Easter lunch that we’re hosting on Sunday.
- On Saturday Ben was Mr. Handy and replaced the front and back doorknobs and fixed the garage door. Then he was Mr. Helpful and vacuumed the house. We did some more cleaning, then took a walk.
- Easter Sunday! He is risen! After church we had the Hartmans and the Gilberts over for lunch. We had an incredible spread and a great time with egg hunts and lounging in the front yard.
- Sunday night we moved the crib into Carson’s old room and Carson’s bed into the room he’ll share with Betsy. They did fall asleep (after a lot of laughing and happy screaming), but then Betsy woke up thanks to what I think is a bad case of allergies, and we eventually moved her into a pack n play in Carson’s old room. So our first attempt at getting them to share a room failed, but I’m hopeful that once she feels better things will go a little more smoothly.
