37 weeks
Since Carson is no longer in school I am bringing him and Betsy to my doctor’s appointments. Which hasn’t been bad, we even stop for donuts on the way since it’s so convenient and it’s a fun thing for the kids (and me!) before sitting in the doctor’s office. This last appointment was short and sweet, but right before going back from the waiting room I picked Betsy up and her sippy cup opened up and spilled water all over her and me. Glad it wasn’t milk! But other than they they both did a great job.
Baby is low but nothing else to report there. I guess there’s always a chance you can go in to labor early, but with the way things look right now I doubt that I will before I’m scheduled to be induced on June 12.
I’ve been doing some things around the house getting ready for new baby. I packed a hospital bag for me and the baby, just in case! I washed a bunch of our newborn clothes. And the nursery is ready to go. Of course I have a list of other non-baby things I’d like to get done in the next 2-3 weeks and I’m trying to prioritize them. Last weekend I was cleaning up around the house and wound up scrubbing the stove top and cleaning the pendant lights above the island, not because it was on my list of things to do but because I walked by them and noticed they were dirty and decided to clean them. Same thing happened with oiling the table and buffet in the dining room. I wish I was always to efficient in cleaning.
