I decided not to edit any photos this week. I opened them all up in lightroom, paused to look at them all and just thought, “This’ll do.” It takes a long time. And I just wasn’t up for it. So here are some SOOC pics for you. Like my fancy photographer talk?!
This past week we didn’t do much out of the ordinary. Carson had cowboy days at school and we all went to the Rodeo on Saturday. As usual, I am sure I’m forgetting something important. Everyone is doing well. Christopher is finding his voice and it is LOUD. He’s still not sleeping through the night consistently, but has slept through the night a few times. So we know he CAN do it.
Betsy is such a joy. I love watching her as she gathers toys from the playroom and puts them in her shopping cart, brings dress up things for me to put on her and then gets in to her bed and plays. This day was particularly adorable.
The more I try to learn about photography the more I realize I don’t know. And I don’t like not knowing. There are so many factors that go in to taking a good photo and often I’ll take 20 or 30 of something and only get 1 or 2 good ones. I have this problem of not wanting to spend too much time learning, I just want to be good at something. Immediately. Nothing works this way. So I’m working through some frustrations with lighting and settings and uncooperative kids as I take pictures, and it’s good. It’s a process, and it’s good for me and my lack of patience.
Carson wants me to take pictures of him when I take my camera out. This time I told him to make certain faces.
Happy
Sad
Mad
Silly

I LOVE this post! Oh, the sad face…
