Today the power was out at Ben’s office so he worked from home. The day started for me trying to keep the kids quiet and away from Ben which is not an easy task. I was a mean mom and wife who ended up stressing everyone out. It’s always fun wanting to accomplish one thing and accomplishing the exact opposite.
We took a trip to the grocery store to get everyone out of the house and away from Ben for a while. It’s still raining so it was even harder to keep the kids happy, being cooped up inside so much. We left the grocery store and saw this road partially flooded. Thankfully after today things are supposed to clear up with no threat of any more flooding rains in the near future.
