One of Carson’s strengths is serving. When they play upstairs with the play food he almost always makes us meals, picnics or snacks. He made this for me today. When you thank him he often says,”My pleasure!” so thanks to CFA for teaching my son such polite manners!
After I picked the kids up from school today we went for snow cones. It’s crazy how much it feels like early summer right now in mid February. I hope that doesn’t translate into a 120° August…
I got back in to the swing of things today! We played with friends, grocery shopped, played, napped, bathed, and that’s about it. Today we traveled back to Houston from Nashville. This picture doesn’t do it justice, but flying in to Houston was beautiful. Also, I love Southwest airlines. Free candy!

Today Ben and I flew to Nashville for the weekend! Kate and Steve will be with the kids, so I am sure they won’t miss us a bit :) I didn’t take any pictures except of our dinner at City House, a place Sarah suggested we go. This pizza was amazing.
Today the kids had their Valentine’s Day parties at school. Here is Betsy with her wonderful teachers. And here’s Carson writing his name on his Valentines for his class. Star Wars of course.
Shoe shopping for myself with three kids was surprisingly trouble-free. I took this to send to a friend to get some advice and I love the Betsy photo bomb :)
I can’t get enough of the weather right now! Cool mornings, warm afternoons and NO BUGS. It’s terrific. We are outside a lot and I think that might be keeping us all from hurting each other some days…
