New Friends<\/em><\/p>\n

Today we went to the Houston Museum of Natural Science with Carrie and the girls, her sister Christy and her kids, and their mom Claudia. \u00a0Carson had a great time running around and was impressed with the big dinosaurs he saw. \u00a0I love this picture for a couple reasons. \u00a0Louisa and Carson are about 6 months apart and it’s always fun to see how little ones interact. \u00a0For the most part they ignored each other, so this was a rare moment when each acknowledged the other. \u00a0I also love that Louisa’s hands are clear and Carson’s are blurry. \u00a0That kind of says it all.<\/p>\n

After the museum we went to the Hobbit Cafe for lunch. \u00a0I’d forgotten how good it was and was glad to be reminded. \u00a0When we walked in and asked for a table for 4 adults, 6 kids and a chair for Betsy’s car seat I’m pretty sure the hostess rolled her eyes :) \u00a0But lunch was wonderful and we made it through without anyone breaking down. \u00a0Both Carson and Betsy fell asleep in the car on the way home. \u00a0I tried to put Carson down after we got back but he just played in his bed for an hour. \u00a0Thankfully he was still in a pretty good mood the rest of the day. \u00a0It was great to go and do something out of the ordinary today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
