Carson’s favorite set of stairs ever in the history of stairs<\/em><\/p>\n

We had a real hard time getting him off of these today at lunch. \u00a0We couldn’t even tempt him with french fries. \u00a0Food trucks are great, but not the best choice when you have a toddler and the truck is parked on Montrose. \u00a0Someone had to constantly monitor Carson to make sure he didn’t get too close to the street. \u00a0The things we do. \u00a0Very thankful for our good friends who helped out!<\/p>\n

This morning we went on a family run. \u00a0After Betsy’s nap we met up with The Hartmans, and Travis and Jean at Discovery Green. \u00a0We played a little bocce and then headed to Koagie Hots food truck for lunch. \u00a0I had a kimchi hot dog and kimchi fries. \u00a0It was delicious, but the service wasn’t the friendliest.\u00a0\u00a0We headed home for naps and got home around 1. \u00a0Everyone was pretty tired, but it was that good kind of tired you are after being out in the sun just long enough. \u00a0I haven’t had that in a while and it felt great. \u00a0Once Carson and Betsy were asleep I went to the grocery store by myself and had the pleasure of coming across 2 wine tastings and had a great conversation with one of the guys, a friendly older man, about cooking with a smoker and how he always eats his smoked fish with red wine even though “that sommeliere over there” wouldn’t advise it. \u00a0It was nice to have a casual grocery store outing. \u00a0I’ve always had the greatest conversations with random people at grocery stores.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
