{"id":2101,"date":"2013-07-18T14:53:31","date_gmt":"2013-07-18T20:53:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/babyz.hottie-biscotti.com\/?p=2101"},"modified":"2013-07-18T14:53:31","modified_gmt":"2013-07-18T20:53:31","slug":"191365","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/babyz\/2013\/07\/18\/191365\/","title":{"rendered":"191\/365"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/babyz.hottie-biscotti.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/7-10-13.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2103\" alt=\"7-10-13\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/babyz.hottie-biscotti.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/7-10-13.jpg?resize=650%2C489\" width=\"650\" height=\"489\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/babyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/7-10-13.jpg?w=650 650w, https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/babyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/7-10-13.jpg?resize=300%2C225 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Ice Cream and Matching PJs with Maren<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I had to take Carson to the dentist this morning. \u00a0He chipped his front tooth like a year ago, but nothing came of it so we left it alone. \u00a0He got hit in the face with a swing while we were in Amarillo and by Monday it was starting to grey. \u00a0My first thought was that it was dying and it was going to have to be pulled or just fall out. \u00a0I was worried. \u00a0I called the dentist and they fit me in this morning. \u00a0I tried to prepare Carson for what I was sure would be a dramatic and scream filled experience. \u00a0We talked about the dentist, that he was going to look in his mouth, touch his teeth and then use a noisy toothbrush to clean his teeth. \u00a0He seemed excited about it, but when it came time for the hygienist to check him out he flipped. \u00a0He did let her count his teeth, but that was about it. \u00a0Then we had to see the actual dentist who was kind and I am sure he is great with most kids, but Carson was a mess. \u00a0It took three of us to keep him still enough to let the dentist do what he needed to do. \u00a0Then we did an xray of the root, also horrible. \u00a0But I am glad we went because the dentist seems to think that it&#8217;s nothing more than a bruised tooth and it will probably get better on its own. \u00a0The root looked fine, which really put me at ease. \u00a0I would have been a mess leaving on our trip not knowing what was going on.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I&#8217;d planned to leave for Round Rock this morning, but the last minute dentist visit meant we left after Betsy&#8217;s nap. \u00a0Betsy cried a lot on the drive, which drove me a little nuts, but we got to my parents in one piece.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We spent the rest of the day hanging out with Lisa and Maren. \u00a0Grandpa and Patti came by later in the afternoon and we all had dinner.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ice Cream and Matching PJs with Maren I had to take Carson to the dentist this morning. \u00a0He chipped his front tooth like a year ago, but nothing came of it so we left it alone. \u00a0He got hit in the face with a swing while we were in Amarillo and by Monday it was &#8230;
