Here is the 36 week belly shot. \u00a0I asked Ben if he thought I looked much bigger this week than the week before, and he kindly replied, “No, I don’t think so.” \u00a0I didn’t feel a whole lot bigger, but when I saw this photo I felt differently. \u00a0I am in fact bigger than the week before. \u00a0And that’s good because that’s how it’s\u00a0supposed\u00a0to be. \u00a0It would also explain why I have been more uncomfortable lately.<\/p>\n

I still feel OK, but I am starting to notice more pressure and pain in the last couple of weeks. \u00a0I am having quite a few Braxton Hicks contractions, but have been told that staying more hydrated will help with that. \u00a0However, I am just not sure how I can put more water into my system without making visits to the restroom every 5 minutes.<\/p>\n

Now that we have all of the baby items assembled, childbirth class is complete, and bags are packed I think we can go ahead and have this baby! \u00a0I feel really ready. \u00a0Having this huge baby swing in the living room is going to be a constant reminder of how close Baby Z’s arrival is!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I have an appointment with the doctor this morning and while I would love his comment to be, “Looks like we were wrong about your due date and you should have this baby any day now!” \u00a0I am prepared to hear what is more likely which is “OK, everything looks about the same. \u00a0See you next week.” \u00a0This whole pregnancy thing is such a test of patience!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>My mom and Kate drove up to Amarillo this weekend and brought the remainder of the baby shower gifts. \u00a0We all went on a walk in Palo Duro on Sunday afternoon, today we’ll do more baby things, and tomorrow they’ll head home. \u00a0It has been so nice to have them here. \u00a0They’re helping get things all organized and ready for Baby Z, and even helping me to recover some chairs for the dining room. \u00a0They keep telling me how easy the chair project will be, but I am so very thankful that I am not doing it myself! \u00a0I hope I will be such a handy and helpful mommy one day. \u00a0It is such a blessing to have people who love you and are willing to drive 8 hours to bring some baby gifts, help assemble baby bouncers and do some home decorating.<\/p>\n
