{"id":2747,"date":"2013-11-07T10:28:03","date_gmt":"2013-11-07T16:28:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/babyz.hottie-biscotti.com\/?p=2747"},"modified":"2013-11-07T10:28:03","modified_gmt":"2013-11-07T16:28:03","slug":"309365","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/babyz\/2013\/11\/07\/309365\/","title":{"rendered":"309\/365"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/babyz.hottie-biscotti.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/11-5-13.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2744\" alt=\"11-5-13\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/babyz.hottie-biscotti.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/11-5-13.jpg?resize=600%2C447\" width=\"600\" height=\"447\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/babyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/11-5-13.jpg?w=600 600w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/babyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/11-5-13.jpg?resize=300%2C223 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Get out of the way, mom!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I wanted to get a picture of Carson and Betsy on the couch together tonight. \u00a0They were in the middle of very intense Handy Manny episode and when I sat them on the couch and then sat on the coffee table in front of them they both leaned away to see past me and continue watching the show.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Tonight my scariest child injury to date occurred. \u00a0Carson and Betsy were taking a bath together, Betsy stood up at the edge and as I was reaching in to grab her and take her out Carson pushed her backward and she sat on the underside of a duplo lego. \u00a0The look on her face told me she&#8217;d been hurt. \u00a0I grabbed her from the tub, without a towel, she screamed like crazy, which made Carson scream like crazy. \u00a0I grabbed a towel and dried her off and then laid her down (still screaming) to see what had happened. \u00a0There was blood on my shirt and on her. \u00a0I wiped away a lot of it trying to find where she was cut. \u00a0It turned out to not be the best place, I won&#8217;t go into any more detail here. \u00a0You can just imagine. \u00a0I put a new diaper on her. \u00a0She didn&#8217;t want to be set down, so I grabbed Carson out of the tub with my other arm and dried him off, then got Betsy to lay down while I got Carson&#8217;s diaper on. \u00a0It was after 5, so my doctor&#8217;s office was closed. \u00a0I called Lindsey, who didn&#8217;t answer, then of course I googled my problem without finding anything super helpful. \u00a0All the while holding Betsy who was not crying anymore, but wasn&#8217;t happy. \u00a0After a while I took off her diaper to investigate. \u00a0There wasn&#8217;t much blood, which was encouraging. \u00a0And she even let me check things out and put some neosporin on the cut. \u00a0Lindsey called me back and told me just to keep an eye on it. \u00a0The rest of the night was fine, she fell asleep and I&#8217;m hoping that will be the end of it. \u00a0No more legos in the tub!<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Get out of the way, mom!
