Double Stroller<\/em><\/p>\n

Carson usually likes to walk when we go places now, and so I don’t bring our double stroller unless we’re going to the zoo or doing something else that involves a lot of walking and I anticipate he’ll want\/need a break. \u00a0Before meeting Carrie for lunch I had a couple returns to make and I figured he’d want to walk. \u00a0When I got Betsy set up in the stroller Carson sat himself right here and It actually worked. \u00a0Betsy didn’t like him sitting there much and kept kicking him.<\/p>\n

After running our errand we went to Chick fil A for lunch. \u00a0It was a nice break from being home all morning. \u00a0Betsy is getting two new teeth on the bottom, so she’s been grumpy and being out around other people was good for everyone. \u00a0Carson had a great time running around in the playroom. \u00a0At one point I thought I smelled a poopy diaper. \u00a0It wasn’t Betsy, and Carson didn’t look like he was poopy (usually the saggy diaper is a dead giveaway). \u00a0But a little bit later he came out of the room and a little girl going in, probably 4 years old, looks at me and says, “He has poop.” \u00a0And sure enough, Carson turned and ran into the room again, I followed, and he was indeed poopy. \u00a0Every kid in there started telling me about it. \u00a0One little boy said, “I knew it was him.” \u00a0Carson of course did not want to leave the fun. \u00a0I of course did not have a diaper for him. \u00a0And even if I had, I didn’t bring a change of pants…which he unfortunately needed. \u00a0Running around with poop in your pants often results in poop escaping. \u00a0Sorry to go into gross detail, but it’s necessary to tell the story! \u00a0Thankfully Carrie was there and able to carry Betsy out to the car while I carried\/dragged Carson to the car trying not to get poop on myself. \u00a0I sat him in his carseat on top of a plastic table topper I thankfully had in the diaper bag in the hopes that I wouldn’t have to steam clean the carseat. \u00a0Carson kept asking to go to Target and I had to say, “No, Carson. \u00a0We can’t go to target because you have poop all over your pants.” \u00a0Never imagined myself having to use that reasoning, but I guess that’s what happens when you become a mom. \u00a0You do and say all kinds of things you never thought you’d have to. \u00a0After getting home I got him all cleaned up (pretty sure I used half a package of wipes) and threw everything that had touched him in the last 20 minutes into the washing machine. \u00a0Then everyone took a much needed nap.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
