Monday was a typical day, Carson had school and we just did normal everyday things. \u00a0The only out of the ordinary thing was Kate’s birthday! \u00a0Carson made her a little happy birthday video :)<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Tuesday was supposed to be full of snow and icy roads, but it turned out to be just cold and rainy. \u00a0Schools were closed and we stayed home all day, which made everyone a little cagey by the end of the day.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday I drove the kids and myself to San Antonio for Dana Sundbeck’s funeral. \u00a0It was a sad occasion, but also nice to see so much family gathering together to celebrate her life and rejoice in where she is now, free of disease and pain and with our Father in Heaven. \u00a0The kids did amazingly well considering all of the driving we did in one day.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday we had our 20 week ultrasound. \u00a0Carrie came out to watch the kids, thank you, Carrie! \u00a0She stayed until lunch, then headed to get her kids. \u00a0Suzanne came over to stay with Carson and Betsy during their naps so that I could go get “styled” for a maternity segment that a friend of hers is doing this coming Tuesday on a local Houston channel. \u00a0In theory I think it’s great. \u00a0I get to be on TV! \u00a0In clothes I can’t afford! \u00a0But when I stop to really think about it I get kind of uncomfortable with it all and imagine myself falling or tripping or just looking awkward. \u00a0But I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and doing something out of the ordinary. \u00a0Thanks, Suzanne, for the opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>Friday was another normal day with errands and chores.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday we went to Liam’s 3rd birthday party, ate lunch, took naps, Ben worked on taxes, I blogged and cooked for Sunday, and then we all went to the grocery store before dinner and bed.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday we went to church then spent the rest of the day getting ready to have people over for the Super Bowl. \u00a0The Hartmans were here and we had a great time stuffing our faces, but a not so great time watching the Bronco’s get tramlped.<\/p>\n<p>In random news.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Betsy is walking more and more everyday.<\/li>\n<li>Carson is wearing boxer briefs and it’s kind of the cutest thing ever.<\/li>\n<li>Betsy has been a total joy to be around lately. \u00a0Only crying really after she wakes up from naps. \u00a0She smiles all the time and is just a fun little girl.<\/li>\n<li>Carson dropped something the other day, I think I might have even bumped into him and caused him to do it, and he said, “Oh, I’m sorry mom. \u00a0I didn’t mean to do that.” He sounded so old to me. \u00a0He’s definitely growing up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/babyz.hottie-biscotti.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/5-52-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3083\" alt=\"5-52-1\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/babyz.hottie-biscotti.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/5-52-1.jpg?resize=360%2C480\" width=\"360\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/babyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/5-52-1.jpg?w=1000 1000w, https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/babyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/5-52-1.jpg?resize=225%2C300 225w, https:\/\/i1.wp.com\/www.hottie-biscotti.com\/babyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/5-52-1.jpg?resize=768%2C1024 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Betsy climbed into this cabinet and closed the door. \u00a0She then had a great time opening and closing the door.<\/em><\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Monday was a typical day, Carson had school and we just did normal everyday things. \u00a0The only out of the ordinary thing was Kate’s birthday!
