week that I don&#8217;t really remember much. \u00a0So here&#8217;s what I do remember!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carson woke up with a nasty cough and complaining that his ears hurt on Thursday morning so I took him to the doctor. \u00a0Turned out that nothing was wrong that they could do anything about, but I was glad to take him and at the very least make sure he didn&#8217;t have an ear infection. \u00a0Betsy was really cooperative, and Carson was better than normal at the doctor&#8217;s office. \u00a0He even stood on the scale without screaming! \u00a0Amazing. \u00a0He fell asleep on the way home and later took a 5 hour nap.<\/li>\n<li>On Friday we (Carson, Betsy and I) drove to Dallas for Beckett&#8217;s birthday party. \u00a0Before we left we went to a birthday party in the morning for Sara Kate, then from there stopped at Target for some things I needed and ended up eating lunch there because I just didn&#8217;t want to get the kids in and out of the car one more time. \u00a0It wasn&#8217;t too bad! \u00a0The drive to Dallas is long. \u00a0We stopped in Centerville for a bathroom break and to get a snack. \u00a0About an hour and a half later we hit some really nasty weather, heavy rain and hail. \u00a0Thankfully it didn&#8217;t last too long and we got to Lindsey&#8217;s safely.<\/li>\n<li>Saturday morning we went to Beckett&#8217;s soccer game, then back home for lunch and naps. \u00a0While the kids napped we went and got a pedicure, which was a treat. \u00a0That evening was Beckett&#8217;s swim party. \u00a0I got in the water with Betsy, and Carson did end up putting on a life jacket and getting in the water, but after losing his footing on a step and getting his face wet he decided dry land was more his thing.<\/li>\n<li>We headed back to Houston after lunch on Sunday. \u00a0It was an uneventful trip. but a long one. \u00a0Ben went and got groceries for us to make burgers for dinner because he&#8217;s wonderful like that.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p
