This week we had VBS at church! \u00a0Carson and Betsy weren’t in a real class since the youngest class is Pre-K, but since we have lots of toddlers at church and lots of their moms were volunteers they had a little class for the littles. \u00a0They didn’t participate in all the same activities, but did some of them. \u00a0At the end of the week both Carson and Betsy brought home bags with their sailor hats and some of their crafts. \u00a0I asked Carson about the fish in his bag. \u00a0I said, “What are these?” \u00a0Carson, “Fish from church!” \u00a0Me, “What did you learn about the fish?” \u00a0Carson, “God. \u00a0I mean Jesus! \u00a0The bible!” \u00a0Classic answers from a 3 year old :)<\/p>\n

This weekend we had a really nice time with just us. \u00a0If Ben had gone to Vegas I would already have had a baby and he would already be gone for the next 2-3 weeks. \u00a0So I was extra thankful for the good family time we had as possibly (and hopefully) our last weekend as a family of 4. \u00a0We went out for burgers on Saturday afternoon, grilled Saturday night, church on Sunday followed by Father’s Day lunch at Jason’s Deli (Carson loved<\/em> Jason’s Deli big time) and then grilled again on Sunday night. \u00a0Ben got to go on a bike ride on Sunday, some much needed time for him. \u00a0But even though it was father’s day weekend he still helped me out by going to the grocery store not once, but twice. \u00a0He’s a good man :) \u00a0And a wonderful husband and father. \u00a0We love you, Ben!<\/p>\n

I finally hung these shelves in the kids room!<\/em><\/p>\n

\"24-52-14\"<\/a>I ordered “Pat the Bunny” for the kids. \u00a0This page in particular brought back some memories. \u00a0The smell is just the same.<\/em>

This tragedy has been happening to my tomatoes. Four so far. \u00a0One really big and beautiful one. \u00a0At first we thought is must be squirrels or some other rodent. \u00a0BUT Ben witnessed a bird swooping down and getting one this weekend! \u00a0I’m planning to get some netting to keep them from getting any more.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
