We went to Christopher’s two week check up on Monday. \u00a0He did a great job. \u00a0He slept on the way there, got a little grumpy waiting so I fed him, and after that he was a dream. \u00a0He didn’t even cry when they had to do a heel prick for his newborn screen. \u00a0He slept all the way home. \u00a0Shallan came out, brought us lunch and stayed with Carson and Betsy during their naps while I took Christopher to the doctor. \u00a0Aunt Shallan, we love you!<\/p>\n

Tuesday was my first day really on my own and it was hard. \u00a0You can’t really discipline your 3 year old for hitting his sister while you’re nursing your infant. \u00a0I realized I haven’t mastered “the look” today. \u00a0It just didn’t seem to phase Carson today. \u00a0So I screamed a lot, the kids cried a lot and I felt defeated.<\/p>\n

Wednesday was better. \u00a0We took a walk, just around the block, but it was something.<\/p>\n

All three kids napped at the same time this afternoon, overlapping for almost 2 hours! \u00a0I know that won’t happen everyday, but it sure was nice and I hope it happens again.<\/p>\n

Kate came on Thursday. \u00a0Carson wanted my boppy to feed his baby today. \u00a0It was pretty cute.<\/p>\n

On Friday we spent a little time at the park in the morning and then took a trip to the grocery store. \u00a0Kate headed back when I put the kids down for naps.<\/p>\n

On Saturday Lindsey, Lane and Beckett and Sarah came to visit! \u00a0We had a fun weekend full of crazy kids, lots of screaming, lots of food, lots of laughing, some good wine and good sister time. \u00a0Lindsey got a cake for mine and Sarah’s birthdays!<\/p>\n

We took a walk and played at the park on Sunday, then had lunch. \u00a0Lindsey and boys headed back in the late afternoon, and Sarah stayed a little longer to watch the end of the World Cup finals.<\/p>\n
