This week we just kind of survived. \u00a0I yelled a lot. \u00a0A lot. \u00a0I was ready for Friday by 10am on Monday. \u00a0It wasn’t just the kids being terrible, in fact I’m pretty sure they weren’t terrible at all. \u00a0I’m feeling kind of off right now. \u00a0I haven’t been exercising and haven’t been eating well and haven’t been getting enough sleep. \u00a0All those things together make for a really short tempered mommy. \u00a0It was a roller coaster week, and I am glad it’s over. \u00a0Thankfully the weekend was actually ok…except for the beat down we took from Alabama. \u00a0Yeesh.<\/p>\n

There were some fun parts to the week, though!<\/p>\n

I got a note sent home from Carson’s teacher that he’s too loud and needs to learn how to use his inside voice. \u00a0His teacher also told me when I picked him up on Thursday that he’s acting too silly and being immature. \u00a0So I feel like a failure as a mom, but at the same time I keep thinking, “He is 3, isn’t he just supposed to be loud and immature?” \u00a0I talked with another mom from Carson’s class and she said she’d received a couple notes home as well, so I’m hoping that it’s not just that Carson is an immature kid but that the teacher is addressing anything and everything. \u00a0But we do need to work on using an inside voice. \u00a0He really is loud.<\/p>\n

The weather was warm this week, but nice in the evenings so we spent quite a bit of time outside. \u00a0We tried a picnic on Tuesday and Carson did a great job. \u00a0I had to bring Betsy back inside so she’d actually eat her lunch.<\/p>\n

On Saturday we did some painting.<\/p>\n

And Sunday night we played outside while we waited for Ben to come home from work.<\/p>\n
