I was thinking today about the ways in which my life has changed since Carson arrived. There are the obvious ones that I was told to expect, and some I found kind of funny and would not have predicted.<\/p>\n

  1. I am not well rested, see my lovely under eye circles?<\/li>\n
  2. My hair is almost always a mess<\/li>\n
  3. I wear pajamas most of the day<\/li>\n
  4. Wearing real clothes and doing my hair makes me incredibly happy<\/li>\n
  5. My falsetto voice is getting more use<\/li>\n
  6. I say the most ridiculous things to get a smile from Carson<\/li>\n
  7. I get super excited about big hunks of snot I pull from his nose<\/li>\n
  8. I have to plan ahead for all my meals<\/li>\n
  9. I almost never get to eat when I am hungry<\/li>\n
  10. I make up songs and sing them while dancing around the house with Carson<\/li>\n
  11. Sometimes at night I think I hear him crying, but he’s fast asleep…is that normal?<\/li>\n
  12. I never watch anything in one sitting. \u00a0I am currently watching a movie that has taken me 3 days to finish. \u00a0Thanks DVR!<\/li>\n
  13. Any outing takes a lot of preparation<\/li>\n
  14. I am learning to get through the grocery store very quickly…I used to be a browser<\/li>\n
  15. I’d rather wash dishes after dinner than be on baby duty<\/li>\n
  16. Going to bed at 8 is not all that crazy<\/li>\n
  17. Dinner “out” means we pick it up and bring it home<\/li>\n
  18. I love this little boy more than I thought possible…even though he did this to my couch cushions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
