It took me a while to decide if I would try any photo projects for 2015. \u00a0I thought about doing another 365 using only my DSLR, but it was already a few days in to January and if I’m going to do that again I want to do it well, without missing days. \u00a0Then I thought about a weekly family photo. \u00a0But I thought that might prove to be too much of a chore, not enjoyable for every member of the family, and would get real old real fast. \u00a0So I decided to post once a week with at least one photo taken with my DSLR. \u00a0I use it all the time to take pictures of food for Hottie Biscotti, but haven’t used it nearly enough to take pictures of the kids. \u00a0I almost always use my iphone for that. \u00a0So this will have to do for the first week of January, even though it’s been almost 2 weeks!<\/p>\n

I’m not too great at taking kid photos, especially inside. \u00a0Lighting is hard. \u00a0And that’s one of the reasons I wanted to do this project. \u00a0I needed something that would force\u00a0me to get better. \u00a0Hopefully I’ll be able to see a big difference between these and the ones to come in December!<\/p>\n

Please excuse the jaundice-like skin of the kids here. \u00a0I should have put them all in black and white!<\/p>\n
