I decided not to edit any photos this week. \u00a0I opened them all up in lightroom, paused to look at them all and just thought, “This’ll do.” \u00a0It takes a long time. \u00a0And I just wasn’t up for it. \u00a0So here are some SOOC pics for you. \u00a0Like my fancy photographer talk?!<\/p>\n

This past week we didn’t do much out of the ordinary. \u00a0Carson had cowboy days at school and we all went to the Rodeo on Saturday. \u00a0As usual, I am sure I’m forgetting something important. \u00a0Everyone is doing well. \u00a0Christopher is finding his voice and it is LOUD. \u00a0He’s still not sleeping through the night consistently, but has slept through the night a few times. \u00a0So we know he CAN do it.<\/p>\n

Betsy is such a joy. \u00a0I love watching her as she gathers toys from the playroom and puts them in her shopping cart, brings dress up things for me to put on her and then gets in to her bed and plays. \u00a0This day was particularly adorable.<\/p>\n

The more I try to learn about photography the more I realize I don’t know. \u00a0And I don’t like not knowing. \u00a0There are so many factors that go in to taking a good photo and often I’ll take 20 or 30 of something and only get 1 or 2 good ones. \u00a0I have this problem of not wanting to spend too much time learning, I just want to be good at something. \u00a0Immediately. \u00a0Nothing works this way. \u00a0So I’m working through some frustrations with lighting and settings and uncooperative kids as I take pictures, and it’s good. \u00a0It’s a process, and it’s good for me and my lack of patience.<\/p>\n

Carson wants me to take pictures of him when I take my camera out. \u00a0This time I told him to make certain faces.<\/p>\n
