Really? \u00a07 months? \u00a0It’s true. \u00a0I cannot believe it. \u00a0I have a feeling that I’ll blink and he’ll be running around outside getting into all kinds of dirty, germy things. \u00a0Then I’ll blink again and he’ll be graduating high school. \u00a0Yikes.<\/p>\n

This boy loves to eat, even though he isn’t great at it yet. \u00a0He is using the high chair now (thanks, Lisa!) instead of the pink bumbo seat we borrowed (thanks, Jackie!).<\/p>\n

He chews on everything, but he doesn’t have any teeth yet.<\/p>\n

Carson is becoming such a fun baby! \u00a0He smiles and laughs, makes all kinds of guttural noises I am certain only little boys make, gets excited when he sees me and Ben, and has started reaching for us, which is just precious.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are slowly but surely getting into a fairly predictable schedule. \u00a0He wakes up between 6:30 and 7 every morning and then takes 3 naps, about an hour (sometimes two!) \u00a0each,\u00a0throughout\u00a0the day, and then comes bedtime. \u00a0How we hate bedtime. \u00a0I’ve tried the tricks for bedtime; give him a relaxing bath, read a book, create a calm environment (most of the time) and there is still nothing that guarantees he goes to bed when we put him down. \u00a0Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn’t. \u00a0But when he finally falls asleep, he sleeps all night. \u00a0I am sure that will change, but I’m trying to enjoy it while it lasts.<\/p>\n

Our little guy is not so little anymore. \u00a0He’s not super round, but he is quite long. \u00a0He is popping the snaps on many of his 6-9 month onesies, but doesn’t fill them out. \u00a0So clothes are kind of a problem for us at the moment.<\/p>\n

Carson obviously wants to move. \u00a0He’ll “walk” when you stand him up and hold his hands. \u00a0He’s not crawling yet, but today he worked for quite a while to get his legs up underneath his tummy but then got frustrated that he couldn’t get anywhere.<\/p>\n

I bought a little inflatable pool that we’ve used the last couple days. \u00a0We just spend about 20 minutes out there, but Carson likes it. \u00a0He got really good at splashing today!<\/p>\n

He doesn’t suck his thumb or take a pacifier. \u00a0He likes these fingers.<\/p>\n

We tried a sippy cup, but he just chews on it, the handles are his favorite. \u00a0I really only give him the sippy cup to see him get all excited about it. \u00a0I love this boy.<\/p>\n
