I made the mistake of talking about washing the car instead of taking it through the car wash a while back, and the kids really took to the idea and have been asking when we were going to do it. \u00a0I kept putting it off because we didn’t have what we needed. \u00a0So we finally got some sponges, buckets and car wash soap at the store today and got the car washed!<\/p>\n

It wasn’t a terrible experience, but one kid (not sure who…) did leave the door open and the dog got out. \u00a0We had to go drive around the neighborhood and find her. \u00a0During our drive I kept talking (maybe yelling?) to them about responsibility and being careful with our choices because they have consequences. \u00a0I am fairly confident that no one was listening to me…per usual.<\/p>\n

Christopher was not a fan of staying in the front yard. \u00a0He’d either try to run down the sidewalk or head to the garage or back yard. \u00a0I ended up filling a baby pool in the back and he no longer helped with the car. \u00a0Not a big deal. \u00a0Betsy was not a huge help, but did help scrub a little. \u00a0Once she started sitting the in soapy water bucket I sent her back to hang with Christopher. \u00a0So Carson and I finished it up. \u00a0He was my big helper.<\/p>\n

The van looks so much better than it did pre-wash! \u00a0A much needed bath. \u00a0Now it needs an interior clean…<\/p>\n
