First day of school!<\/p>\n

Carson was excited to go to his first day of Kindergarten, awake and in the play room waiting for me\u00a0before I even went to get him up.<\/p>\n

Ben came with us, which was great mostly because we like him,\u00a0but also because I had two bags of supplies to bring in and there is no way I could have done it without him. \u00a0Traffic was crazy but we got Carson in his classroom and at his desk on time.<\/p>\n

When I picked him up he didn’t have a lot to say except, “Mom, we didn’t get to do much fun stuff.” \u00a0That’s right buddy, you’re not at your play based pre-k anymore! \u00a0I’m already being made aware that he needs lots of play and crazy time after school since he isn’t getting that time during the day. \u00a0We have lots of adjustments to make at our house now! \u00a0Naps for the little ones are no longer “sleep until dinner” naps and Carson won’t be napping at all. \u00a0Life is changing for us for sure.<\/p>\n
