I had a doctors appointment today, 17 weeks and 2 days along. \u00a0This sealed envelope contains the gender of Baby Z #2!<\/p>\n

I need a different name for this baby. \u00a0I don’t like the way #2 sounds. \u00a0Any suggestions?<\/p>\n

We weren’t sure at first whether or not we wanted to find out the sex. \u00a0We didn’t find out with Carson and it was really fun not knowing. \u00a0I am so glad we did it that way. \u00a0But we decided to find out this time. \u00a0Now we will have done it both ways.<\/p>\n

I toyed around with having a gender reveal party. \u00a0We went to one for a friend and it was special and exciting to find out that they were expecting a little girl right there with them. \u00a0The more I thought about it, the more I began to realize that planning a party would probably be a little too much work for me. \u00a0So then we decided we would just go to Austin and have lunch with our parents and open the envelope with them. \u00a0However, I struggled big time after I was given this envelope by the sonographer. \u00a0How am I supposed to resist this? \u00a0I had a great desire to just rip it open, right then and there. \u00a0I resisted, but thought I’d try to get Ben on board with not doing the lunch thing and just finding out tonight. \u00a0Unfortunately I am not as persuasive as I thought I was, and he still wants to wait.<\/p>\n

So this thing is now going to stare me in the face for the next 10 days (I know, that’s nothing) and taunt me with the knowledge it contains. \u00a0On the bright side, this does give me the opportunity to ask all of you what your vote is. \u00a0What do you think, boy or girl? \u00a0Leave a comment and vote!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
