Our sweet baby girl made her debut on September 5, 2012 at 9:50 am. \u00a0She weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces and was 19 1\/2 inches long. \u00a0We absolutely love her.<\/p>\n

We settled on Elizabeth Marjorie just a few hours after she was born. \u00a0Much better than the 2 days we took to decide on Carson Thomas! \u00a0Her name is a combination of family names on Ben’s side and mine. \u00a0Elizabeth is from Ben’s side of the family, both his mom and dad have Elizabeths in the family. \u00a0Marjorie was my maternal grandmother’s name. \u00a0We are calling her Betsy.<\/p>\n

She is a week and 1 day old today and we’re slowly but surely figuring out life with two kids! \u00a0Although I haven’t yet experienced what my reality will be since we’ve had so much help from family. \u00a0I honestly do not know how people do it by themselves.<\/p>\n

Betsy has already gotten to spend some special time with her Grandma and Papa<\/p>\n

Oh, and Ginger.<\/p>\n

Betsy watched her first A&M game with daddy this past weekend. \u00a0We were all hoping for a better ending to our first game in the SEC. \u00a0Next time we’ll just have to wear more maroon.<\/p>\n

Carson is loving her, at least that’s what I tell myself. \u00a0His favorite thing to do with her is to point out and name her body parts, head, ears, eyes, tummy, hands, feet and toes. \u00a0This little moment on the couch was such a precious one. \u00a0We are so incredibly blessed.<\/p>\n

In honor of Betsy being a week old yesterday, we took a trip to Target.<\/p>\n

Carson had a terrific time.<\/p>\n
